This week, the news is all over the place, resulting in what I like to call “optimism whiplash". There are welcome signs of potentially better days to come, with reports of vaccine rollouts in Europe picking up, despite a sluggish start and problems with vaccine hesitancy among the public made worse by mixed messaging from leaders, including in France.
